To receive any declaration of interest by any Member or Officer in respect of any item of business.

Minutes:

The Head of Profession – Human Resources and Transformation declared an interest in respect of Item 4 – Senior Management Restructure if discussion was to be undertaken as regards to remuneration.

The minutes of the meeting held on 6 February, 2019 were confirmed.

To consdier adopting the following :-

 

“Under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the discussion on the following item as it may involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12A of the said Act and in the attached Public Interest Test.”

Minutes:

It was RESOLVED to adopt the following :-

 

“Under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the discussion on the following item as it may involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12A of the said Act and in the attached Public Interest Test.”

Senior Management Restructure

To submit a report by the Chief Executive.

Minutes:

Submitted – a report by the Chief Executive in relation to the above.

 

It was RESOLVED :-

 

·      not to fill the current vacant post of Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Governance and Internal Transformation);

·      that a focussed review of the Senior Management structure be made supporting the management model included in Appendix 2 of the report;

·      that as a consequence of the above, to support the principle to review the model of salaries that will arise from enhanced responsibilities.
