It was resolved to approve the original proposal, namely to increase the capacity of Ysgol y Graig to accommodate pupils from Ysgol Talwrn and that Ysgol Talwrn be closed.
This to be done by –
· Using the existing building for Key Stage 2 i.e. Years 3 to 6 and adapting it;
· Building a new Block for the Foundation Phase, namely Nursery, Reception, Years 1 and 2;
· Considering relocating the Flying Start provision within the Ysgol y Graig campus.
The new block to be part of Ysgol y Graig and not a separate unit. The new arrangement to operate as one school and not as two separate units.

12.1 FPL/2019/7 – Full Application for the erection of a new primary school together with the creation of a new vehicular access onto the B5109 on land opposite Bryn Meurig, Llangefni
It was resolved to approve the application in accordance with the Officer’s recommendation and report subject to the planning conditions contained therein and subject to an additional condition in relation to lighting to mitigate any potential effects on bats.

It was resolved subject to the receipt of Welsh Government’s Highways Department’s response, to approve the application in accordance with the Officer’s recommendation and report subject also to the planning conditions contained therein.

It was resolved to approve the application in accordance with the Officer’s recommendation and report subject to the condition outlined therein and subject also to receipt of confirmation from the MOD that it has no objection.
