EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
RESOLVED to adopt the following :-
" Under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act
1972, to exclude the press and
" public from the meeting for the following item on
the grounds that it involves the likely
" disclosure of exempt information as defined in
Paragraph 1, Part I of Schedule 12A of the " said Act."

RECRUITMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR
The Head of Service (Corporate Services) reported that
interviews of the 'long-listed' candidates had taken place for the
post of Managing Director. He noted that out of the ten
'long-listed' candidates a total of eight candidates were
interviewed. One candidate withdrew his application prior to
interview and the other candidate did not respond to numerous
attempts to contact him.
The Head of Service gave a detailed analysis of each
candidate to the Committee.
The Members of the Committee thanked the Officers
concerned for their diligent work.
Following deliberations it wasRESOLVED to place three candidates on the short-list
for interview by the full County Council.
