(a)To report that the Board of Commissioners at their meeting on 3rd September 2012 had resolved to recommend to the County Council that it “approves the Menai Bridge Conservation Area Character Appraisal for adoption as Supplementary Planning Guidance.â€

To submit the following Notice of Motion by Councillors Aled Morris Jones and Selwyn Williams:-
“We the undersigned, urge the Isle of Anglesey County Council to explore the possibilityof mounting a bid to host the Island Games in light of the success of London 2012. TheCouncil should seize the opportunity to bring a major sporting event to the Isle ofAnglesey, which will bring a lasting legacy to the Isle of Anglesey and the whole of Wales.â€
