Councillor Ieuan Williams was re-elected Chair of the Appointments Committee.

To elect a Vice-Chair.

Councillor Bob Parry OBE was re-elected Vice-Chair of the Appointments Committee.

To receive any declaration of interest by any Member or Officer in respect of any item of business.

To submit, for confirmation, the minutes of the meeting held on 1 May, 2015.

To consider adopting the following :-

“Under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the discussion on the following item as it may involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12 of the said Act and in the attached Public Interest Test.”

RESOLVED to adopt the following :-

“Under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the discussion on the following item as it may involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12 of the said Act and in the attached Public Interest Test.”

The Head of Profession – Human Resources outlined the process in respect of advertising and appointing to the posts of Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Governance and Internal Transformation) and Assistant Chief Executive (Partnership and External Transformation) to the Committee.

RESOLVED that the adverts for the posts of Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Governance and Internal Transformation) and Assistant Chief Executive (Partnership and External Transformation) be advertised on the Council’s website and that a press release be published.
