Councillor Bob Parry OBE FRAgS was elected Vice-Chairperson.

To receive any declaration of interest by any Member or Officer in respect of any item of business.

To submit, for confirmation, the minutes of the meeting held on 11 March, 2019.

The minutes of the meeting held on 11 March, 2019 were confirmed.

To consider adopting the following:-

“Under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the discussion on the following item as it may involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12A of the said Act and in the attached Public Interest Test.”

It was RESOLVED to adopt the following:-

To receive a verbal report by the Chief Executive.

A verbal report was presented by the Officers on the Senior Management structure.

It was RESOLVED:-

·           that an update on the outcome of the process as regards to the Senior Management structure be presented to the meeting of the Appointments Committee to be held on 25 June, 2019;

·           it was further agreed that two vacant posts within the restructure would be advertised internally to those impacted by the restructure in the first instance, in accordance with Council Policy.  Should there be no successful applications any positions remaining vacant will be advertised externally.
