Independent member of the Standards Committee
An Anglesey girl, Denise Harris-Edwards was educated both in Wales and at a girls’ school in Leicester.
She has worked for Coleg Llandrillo Cymru as a Healthy Eating Co-Ordinator and lectures and teaches in the community. She also works in the private sector as an Adult Education Consultant and hold a Post Graduate qualification in Education and Training.
In the past she was the chair of Ynys Môn Community Health Council and volunteered for the Citizens Advice Bureau - which included Industrial Tribunal representation - Women’s Aid and various other charities.
